Problems and questions

Where is my booking confirmation e-mail?
We have had several customers who have not received their confirmation e-mail from the booking system, usually because their e-mail service has mistakenly marked it as junk mail. This seems particularly to affect users with hotmail addresses. Your confirmation e-mail contains your booking details and usually arrives within minutes of paying for your booking (you will also receive a receipt for your payment from the Worldpay server but this is not the same and does not have the details needed to pick up your ticket).

It is a good idea with some e-mail accounts to add ' ' to your address book before you book in order to minimise this type of problem. Otherwise, please allow up to 12 hours for your booking confirmation to arrive and please check your junk or spam folder. If you still do not have a booking confirmation, please e-mail us as soon as possible at

Be sure to include your name, address and telephone number if you have been sent one so that we can find your booking.

Can I change my booking?
Advance bookings are intended to be final. There is no facility to add people or workshops or change dates or times after you have made a booking so please be sure to choose the tickets, workshops, dates and times you want when you book. If, exceptionally you need to change a booking, please e-mail us at the address above. We will help if we can but may not be able to do so this close to the fair.

Can I pay by cheque or book on the phone?
The advance ticket service is via the web only and payment must be made by credit or debit card at the time of booking. We are not able to offer a telephone booking service or to accept payment by cheque, postal order or cash. If you have not booked in advance, you can pay on the door on the day but may have a limited choice of workshop places.
